I

David H. Jernigan

After 31 years working for the U. S. Postal Service, 21 years of which I was the Postmaster of Aransas Pass TX, I took up the hobby of photography, which I had been interested in most of my life.

My wife Sharon and I retired in 2003 and for the first 4 years we traveled the U.S. and Canada in our 5th wheel trailer. We even spent 2 years working in Madison Campground, Yellowstone National Park. Our travels gave me many photo opportunities.

This past year I have been encouraged by family and friends to broaden my passion for photography by beginning a business and setting up a web site to share and exchange my hobby with people who have the same interests.

I do custom printing using an Epson 4000 printer. I usually print on either Premium Luster or Ultra Smooth Fine Art paper. I also do custom framing, mounting and matting.

I mount on Cresent Perfect Mount board, the mats and prints are then sprayed with Premier Art Printshield, which gives the prints uv protection and makes them more water resistant. I usually frame without using glass to prevent the images from losing any of their natural look.
